These carpets are not only beautiful, they also represent the possibility of a better future for disadvantaged people living in Brazil.
Persons who need a chance in life, who don't have the back up from families or have to live with a disability. I have worked with them in a Brazilian leather workshop.
The collection carpets are inspired by my experience there. I have designed a technique, which allows the whole production process to be carried out by disabled people, using only leftover leather. There is no need for a sewing machine. And it's fun.
Since the carpets are all handmade, they can be any size or shape you want. You can even change the shape yourself.
